Draw Textured Yarn, or DTY, is largely composed of Nylon 6/6, and it is a highly appreciated yarn, particularly because of the texturing that is done on it. Developed by stretching and false twisting partially oriented yarn (POY), DTY has an appearance of crimped texture due to deformation and heat setting. This process leads to the development of yarn, which has good elasticity and a fine fleecy feel and therefore can be used widely in the related textile field.
Function
As mentioned earlier, DTY is primarily used in weaving, which results in the production of several types of fabrics as well as in knitting. Due to its unique crimped surface as well as its elasticity, it finds extensive use in industries that demand flexible substances. Some of the applications of DTY include apparel requirements, home textiles, automotive interiors, luggage, and other textile accessories where an extra measure of strength and comfort is needed.
Features of Nylon 6/6 DTY
- Fine Fleeciness and Elasticity: DTY yarn is crimped yarn, which makes them feel very soft and plush, besides helping them to be elastic. This makes it suitable for use in garments that need elasticity and softness on the skin, and this explains why it’s widely used today.
- Periodic Network Points: The yarn has specified network points that aim to increase the tightness of the yarn and also improve weaving. They add upon how this fabric holds together to make it stronger and how the quality remains standard.
- Versatility in Applications: DTY Nylon 6/6 is utilized in a wide variety of textile products, with applications in garments, home textiles, and accessories. Some of its characteristics make it ideal for use where there is a need for flexibility, but at the same time, strength is required.
- Equipment and Testing: The yarn is produced using Japan TMT and Germany Barmag equipment with quality enabled by Uster testers and Oxford MOC NMRS. This makes certain that the production standards and the efficiency of the employees are well maintained.
Nylon 6/6 DTY is the best to meet with versatility, elasticity, fleeciness, and more over durability. The number of features and special design make it suited especially for high-quality woven and knitted fabric production.
