Nylon 6 10 Structure — an extensively researched and developed high-oriented yarn delivering exceptional strength and flexibility for high-performance fabrics. Developed through the ultra high-speed spinning and stretching technique, Nylon 6 HOY takes place between FDY and POY type yarns for the end uses that need a high level of wearability as well as a high level of fabric handle.

Function:

Nylon 6 10 Structure is designed particularly for better elongation and fabric feel in contrast to ordinary yarns. • Strength and Elongation: HOY Nylon 6 has a strength level of 3 ranging between 3. 8-4. 2 cN/dtex, elongation range is 55-65%. This balance brings out the ability of the yarn to ‘handle’ stress without losing shape or becoming too rigid for the intended purposes.
• Enhanced Fabric Feel: Thus, HOY has higher elongation and lower strength compared to FDY, therefore making the fabric feel softer and more comfortable to wear. Also, it has lesser shrinkage in boiling water, making the fabric more stable and having good wear and tear.
